Sundash 232 Pro-1: This is a Level 1 tanning bed with a single facial lamp. It is high in UV-B which makes it a good starter bed to begin the tanning process. UV-B is necessary to stimulate the skin to make pigment. Even if you have a high skin type (4 or higher) and purchase a level 2 package this is a good bed to use for the first few tanning sessions. 15 Min MAX Exposure.

Ambition 300: A Level 2 bed with 3 facial lamps and a 15 Min MAX Exposure it is lower in UV-B but much higher in UV-A. Once your skin is manufacturing melanin pigment (pink in natural state) the high UV-A will oxidize and turn the pigment brown. If you do not have a base tan and want to use this level of bed we strongly recommend that you start out with a Level 1 bed for the first few sessions to stimulate the tanning process. You will get much better results.

Radius 252: A Level 2 stand up booth (level 3 in most other salons). It is a 12 Min MAX Exposure with 200 watt 6’ lamps. Very low in UV-B it is for a serious tanner with a base tan already established. Like the Ambition, above, we recommend starting out in the Level 1 or Level 3 first for a few sessions to get the pigment process started.

Starpower: A Level 3 bed with very high UV-B and UV-A and 4 facials, shoulder and side tanners it offers 3600 tanning in a laydown bed. It offers the best of both worlds by both strongly stimulating pigment production with a powerful bronzing effect.

All Level 2 & 3
beds/booths have high intensity reflector lamps. The Level 1
beds do not have reflectors. So, even though the Ambition
(Level 2) and Sundash (Level 1) are both 15 Min MAX
Exposures the Intensity of the exposure is much greater in
the Ambition.
We are committed to safe, non-burning tanning. Regardless of
the type of tanning you have done elsewhere please accept
the advice of our tanning associates when developing a
tanning program. They are educated and trained to advise you
on tanning session times and frequency. You cannot compare
one tanning salon experience to another. Each salon
determines when the lamps get changed and what quality of
lamp is used. One salon’s cheap 15 minute lamp is not the
same as another’s premium 15 minute lamp.
